San Kiang Charitable Association Call for Historical Materials and Photos

Dear San Kiang Members, Friends, Families, and Descendants:

Since its founding in 1929, the San Kiang Charitable Association has stood for 96 years, carrying forward the mission of “uniting fellow countrymen, offering mutual aid, and preserving cultural traditions.” Throughout nearly a century, the Association has witnessed the struggles, perseverance, and solidarity of countless immigrants and their families.

Unfortunately, due to the lack of modern archiving technology in earlier decades and the passing of generations, many precious historical materials have not been preserved. These items are not only the record of the Association’s development but also shared memories and testimonies of our community’s history.

We are now calling upon all members, families, and descendants to contribute any historical materials related to the Association, including but not limited to:
