San Kiang Charitable Association Celebrates Dragon Boat Festival and Father's Day

Today is the traditional Chinese festival - Dragon Boat Festival - celebrated by our communal folks, as well as Father's Day celebrated in advance for our male colleagues. Folks gathered together, ate watermelon, talked about family matters, gathered together, shared rice dumplings, and we all had a good time, truly feeling that San Kiang is one of our big families.

Dragon Boat Festival is one of the important traditional festivals in China, with deep cultural heritage and rich folk activities. Every Dragon Boat Festival, we will eat rice dumplings, dragon boat racing, hanging wormwood, wearing scented sachets, these customs not only enriches our cultural life, but also carries the desire for a better life and the memory of the sages.

Being overseas, it is all the more important for us to cherish and pass on this valuable cultural heritage. Today, we are here not only to celebrate the festival, but also to strengthen the cohesion of our fellow members and enhance mutual understanding and friendship. No matter where we are, the Dragon Boat Festival is always in our hearts.

On this special day, let us experience the charm of Chinese culture together and share the joy of the festival. May our traditional culture continue to be passed on and carried forward overseas, may our communal offices become more united and harmonious, and may we all enjoy good health and family happiness.

Lastly, thanks again to all folks for their participation, and thanks to all my fellow council members for their hard work and unpaid dedication, I am thankful to have all of you [together]. I wish you all a peaceful Dragon Boat Festival and Happy Holidays 🍾🎈🎉!

Thank you all!
