The San Kiang Charitable Association recently held a successful election for its 57th leadership team, with the following members officially announced:
President: Ronggang Bao
Chairperson of the Board: Qinlian Chen
Vice President: Xianfen Ying
Vice Chairperson of the Board: Yongzhong Sun
This year’s election adhered to the association’s long-standing tradition. In November, the board nominated candidates, and in December, members cast their votes during the general meeting. This year’s process was particularly smooth, with Ronggang Bao and Qinlian Chen being the only nominees. Both were elected unanimously and will lead the new team.
President Ronggang Bao, during his previous term, made outstanding contributions to the development of the association. He not only introduced innovative measures to serve members during the pandemic but also organized several large-scale events to unite the Chinese community in the eastern U.S. Chairperson Qinlian Chen earned the trust of members with her pragmatic and efficient leadership style. Newly elected Vice President Xianfen Ying and Vice Chairperson Yongzhong Sun are also passionate about public service and bring a wealth of experience to their roles.
The new leadership team has expressed their commitment to upholding the association’s mission of “unity and mutual assistance for the benefit of the community.” They plan to organize more activities to support members and strengthen ties within the Chinese-American community. Additionally, they aim to enhance collaboration with other organizations to further the development of the Chinese community in the eastern U.S.
The association also takes this opportunity to thank the previous leadership team and all members for their unwavering support and dedication, which have allowed the San Kiang Charitable Association to remain a vital force in New York’s Chinese community.
Let us look forward to the new leadership team guiding the San Kiang Charitable Association toward an even brighter future!
Together, we thrive as one community!
